Grande Macchiato with extra racism

It makes me really depressed to have to write this, especially because Starbucks is my life, but it's been all over social media and I can't help myself. So recently at a Starbucks in Philadelphia two men were waiting for a friend to have a business meeting, and sat in the store waiting; they didn't even order anything. So because Black people are so intimidating and problematic even when they're not doing anything, the manager was anxious about their presence and called the police. From what I saw on social media, the manager told them to order something or leave, but Starbucks has always been a place where many people come to just lay back and relax. I used to work at Starbucks, so I know that the company literally considers themselves to be a "home away from home", so the manager's reasoning was completely outside company values and overall business ethics. Furthermore, I don't and never will come to an understanding as to why Black people can't simply live their lives without trouble trailing behind them. The two Black men have been released and had an interview since the incident, stating that they were scared for the outcome of it all; and the manager of the Starbucks was fired as well. On twitter I saw a video recorded by a witness, and a white man was questioning the police in regards to the purpose behind it, and I think that's the best thing I've seen since Trump's entered office.

Dear White People,

If you witness any racist, prejudice, or overall problematic behavior; please use your supremacy to do something gr8. Black people don't have the same advantage to do that, if anything, the other black person jumping to defense would get arrested as well. Use your voice, existence and power as much as possible to make a difference, instead of watching and doing nothing. In fact, if you have Black friends and think you're "down" enough to use the n-word (which shouldn't come out your mouth EVER), then you should be down enough to make a change and fight for equality.

Be blessed y'all!
