Get to Know Me: 15 Facts About Me!

I realized today that I started this blog and a lot of my supporters and subscribers don't know me personally, so I wanted to put this list together just for you guys to get a little inside scoop..

1. I LOVE TO EAT! I eat all the time and I'm such a foodie. I watch Food Network, and one of my favorite shows on there is Chopped! I also love to cook! My favorite food is pasta, or anything with cheese lol

2. I'm a Virgo! My birthday is September 3rd, and although I'm not into astrology & stuff, I have to say most of the things about virgo's heavily relate to me lol

3. I write poetry! As you all can see, writing is one of my biggest passions, and more specifically I love to write spoken word, I love the rhythm and flow it can bring, it essentially reminds me of rapping a bit.

4. Speaking of poetry... I used to write songs! When I was younger my cousins and I used to be a little singing group (we thought we were gonna make it big like Destiny's Child lol) and I used to write some songs for the group, I low-key wanna dabble back in it...

5. I am a Business major with a concentration in Entrepreneurship Management! I really wanna own a business that focuses on natural beauty products and supplements, I've already got about 60% of my business plan written, I just really need help with the financial portion. Unfortunately I can't get a copyright yet, so I keep the bigger details a secret...

6. Along with being an entrepreneur, I wanna become a model and humanitarian! I love modeling, I feel like I was blessed with long legs for a reason lol, and all my life I've been told I should get into it, so I'm taking it as signs from God; I'm trying so hard to get another shoot or two done before I leave for school. I also wanna give back to the world and start a scholarship foundation for the misfortunate, or those who simply don't have enough money to pursue their dreams

7. I'm very empathetic! I can feel other people's emotions, and share that same state of mind with someone in the moment. For example, if something tragic happens to someone in a movie, I will cry and feel that same pain that they do, I'm very emotional I can't help it lol

8. Although I'm known to be very outgoing, I'm also an introvert! These last couple of months especially, I've been spending a lot of time alone. I love my solitude, and nothing feels better than spending time with someone who knows you best (yourself). I can spend all day with a group of people, but if I don't get enough down time with myself, I get annoyed and shut down. Being alone for me is a way I can recharge, just to have a moment alone in peace can lift my mood, and then I go back to being my annoying/goofy self lmao

9. I'm an old soul! A lot of the things I love are such much older than me. I love old TV shows such as "I Love Lucy, "The Golden Girls", "Martin", "Living Single", " A Different World", "Mama's Family, "Amen", "Angel", "The Cosby Show", and thats just to name a few.. I also appreciate old school music, mostly 80's and 90's.

10. I live for parked-car conversations! Besides the fact that I love car rides, I feel like the best OF THE BEST conversations happen in a parked car, I feel like you and whoever else is present can take a moment just to reflect on anything and everything, it's such a peaceful setting and with the right person its a great moment.

11. My biggest fear is rejection! One of the biggest things I'm afraid of is not being good enough, not feeling like I'm doing the best I can and using my skills to their capacity. I work so hard so I don't feel this way, but this fear also applies to friendships and relationships.

12. I love, love. I'm a very affectionate person, I love the idea of loving other people, even though I can't stand people a lot of the time lmao. The idea of feelings, falling in love, being in love and growing old with someone is so beautiful to me. I'm most definitely not in a rush, but I am looking for someone to take up some of my time...

13. I love to dance! I will dance anywhere a good song is playing, the park, the grocery store, you name it! I really love to dance at parties, and if you really know me then you know this is certainly true lol, I'll be the first one to dance anywhere.

14. I'm super sarcastic and I have a dark-sense of humor! I have a smart remark for almost everything but I think that's what makes me, me. I also laugh at everything, and a lot of the time I laugh at things I shouldn't, I used to get into trouble at school for that a lot lmao. The things that are funniest to me tend to be serious things that people make light of, but in a serious situation I know how to be mature.

15. I'm a very unapologetic person! I am who I am, you love me or you don't. I'm always working to better myself, there's always room for improvement and I'm nowhere near perfect, but I will never conform to make anyone comfortable, nor will I make any moves that I'm not completely confident with. I like to be proud of everything I do, or at least gain knowledge from the mistakes I make and build from it, but I know that who I am and everything that happens in my life is for a reason. I love the life I live and I have very few regrets...
